Kale Chips

I love to grow kale!  So hearty you can sometimes grow it till November. My kids favorite way to eat it is by making crunchy kale chips baked in the oven.



Bunch of kale

1  tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon sea salt


First wash and dry your kale to remove any garden critters.  Next tare kale way from stem into bite size pieces.  Spread pieces on a cookie sheet in a single layer.  Toss with olive oil and sea salt.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 – 15 minutes.  Make sure to keep a close eye kale can burn very easily.


Let cool and enjoy!  I like to store my kale in an air tight container.  Canning jars work  the best to keep your kale chips fresh and unbroken.

Also great as a gift!
