Strawberries 5 Ways

Fresh picked strawberries are the best!  Here are 5 easy ways to use these sweet things up before they go bad.


1. Strawberry Shortcake Muffins

2. Strawberry Pancakes



2 eggs

1-1/2 cups milk

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/3 cup melted butter

2 cups all- purpose flour

1/4 cup sugar

4 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

Add all wet ingredients to a bowl and beat.  Then add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and blend until smooth.  Preheat griddle or frying pan to medium high heat.   Poor batter by 1/4 cup fulls on to your hot greased griddle.  Add strawberry’s to the top of the pancakes and flip when the top starts to form bubbles. Cook other side till golden brown.



3. Strawberry Banana Smoothie


1 cup strawberry’s

1 banana

1/3 cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon  Chia flax seed mix

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.


4. Strawberry Popsicle’s


2 cups strawberry’s

1 cup vanilla yogurt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup milk

Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Poor mixture into Popsicle molds and freeze for a couple of hours.

5. Chocolate Covered Strawberry’s



1 package chocolate morsels

30 strawberry’s

Wipe strawberry’s with a paper towel to remove any dirt.  Then melt chocolate for 20 seconds in the microwave and then stir.  Repeat the process 2 more times or until your chocolate morels are fully melted.  Once melted, dip berry’s one at a time and lay them on a large piece of wax paper with a cookie sheet under it.  Put your dipped berry’s into the fridge for 20 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
